Introduction . . .

I am a 3D animation and visualization teacher with Digital-Evolutions.org, just outside Denver, CO and have been teaching 3D since 2000. I am not perfect and make mistakes, but I love 3D and teaching it. I want this site to be a dynamic resource that helps other 3D teachers. I am opinionated, tend to be a bit verbose and will occasionally reword my entries until I like it, which may take months. If you have any questions, email me or just check out our site: http://www.digital-evolutions.org/

Pose Maniacs a Gesture Reference Site

www.posemaniacs.com
Here is a great gesture reference site. Pose Maniacs is a support site for artists providing over 500 gesture models with 36 positions for each gesture. They are virtual references, so they might not be completely accurate, but they are still a great source. The models also have a muscle skin texture so that you can see the layout within the pose. Images can be used in full screen and with a grid overlay. Navigation is a bit loose and found it difficult finding a pose that you are actually looking for.

The site has a few other features:

Over all, it is a quick and easy site for gesture references.
